Rhine Fireworks

On Septembre 19, there's "Rhein in Flammen" again in St. Goar. Over the past years we sold bevereages on the ferry, and this year we'll do so, too. Tickets are available at Hans Jaeger.

Wilhelm Beilmann +

On Feb. 09, 2006, PDG 1974/75 Wilhelm Beilmann passed away. Since 1955, he was Rotarian in RC Bad Kreuznach and first Governor of the newly formed D.1860. He was honorary member of the clubs Bad Kreuznach - Nahetal, Bingen, Frankfurt (Oder), St.Goarshausen - Loreley und Simmern - Hunsrück

Theme 2005-06: Service above Self

Rotary International President-elect Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar made a grand bow to continuity and the successes of the past century when he unveiled the 2005-06 theme, Service Above Self, at the International Assembly in Anaheim, California, USA, on 19 February. "I have chosen the best motto ever created for Rotary International, yet one that you will not find on the walls of this room: Service Above Self," Stenhammar declared in the theme address at the opening plenary session.

International Project: Cape Verdes

The Club is going to be engaged in its first international project. Pres. Küster and his spouse Frauke visited Cape Verde Islands. A lot of useful things for a selected kindergarten was part of their baggage.
