Professional information for pupils in Haupt- and Realschule
Which profession should I take up? The Rotary Club St. Goarshausen-Loreley supports pupils in
Haupt- and Realschule (secondary schools) in the Nastätten school center to answer this
question. Since 2000, the Rotarians arrange an annual information night on professions. The event
has the motto "Professions today - instructors and trainees of the area provide
information."
School Center Nastätten
All parties judge positively on the event. Practitioners of more than 30 vocations discuss with
the pupils and their parents. Everybody can talk to experts of his choice and ask for prospects in
that job.
Alfred Menges and Dieter Zorbach, the principals of both schools had willingly accepted the
Rotarian offer. "The better the information, the better is the choice of one's
profession", said Zorbach. Menges supported him and hoped that this would be the beginning of
a joined initiative of business, parents and schools. Meanwhile, Alfred Menges is a member of the
club - Rotary has convinced him.

thanks (German) by Rektor Menges.
